All the employees were very courteous and respectful and ALWAYS SMILING! I really like that, it shows us customers that the employees enjoy working there. The sites were clean and no dirt. Paved roads paved sites with gravel camp sides. Easy to get in and out of. I didn't ride the train this go around, but have in the past and it's worth it's weight in GOLD!
We were there for several nights attending a special event on the Grand Canyon Railway. Couldn't believe how level the parking spots were, the overall cleanliness of the place and the walking convenience to everything we wanted to do.
We're heading back there in less than two weeks for another special event and have requested a spot right next to the railroad tracks. We love railroad noise, and nocturnal passing freight trains on the BNSF "Peavine" line, as well as the daily arrival and departure of Grand Canyon Railway trains add to the special charm of this place. On our previous visit we were well north of the tracks and heard none of it. If the trains bother you, ask for a spot on the north side of the RV park. If trains are the reason you're visiting, this place is all about location, location, location.
